Altstadthotel Arch - Regensburg

The historical decor adds unique charm to the overall experience. A kettle would be helpful.

The queen room is air conditioned and has an electronic key card, a work desk, and a TV.

The personnel where superbly friendly and gave us loads of advice. The location of the hotel was amazing - within easy walking distance of St Peter Cathedral. You could walk to the Christmas market and a market.

The hotel offered a wonderful central location, made it easy to explore nearby historical attractions. The cozy rooms were spotlessly clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The only downside was the limited parking availability nearby, tricky at times.

The location is excellent, 5 minutes walking to the famous bridge. The taxi costs about 7 euros from the Railway station.

The wi-fi is free, but it does not have strength signal in all rooms. The shower box does not protect the toilet from water during shower. After that, it looks like we have a Danubio River inside the bathroom!

Room decor feels outdated!!! Basic amenities in the room were lacking!!! Inadequate air conditioning made it uncomfortable at times!!! Limited noise insulation from adjacent rooms disrupted sleep quality!!!

The hotel is located in an old style building well combined with a modern interior. Perfect location in the centre of Regensburg.

There is no own garage or parking lot at the hotel, the car has to be parked few streets further in the city garage.

The Altstadthotel Arch impressed with its location right in the heart of Old Town. I enjoyed the charming atmosphere, especially with the original timber beams that added character to the room. Exploring the area was so easy. I could walk to various historical sites within minutes. The breakfast selection was decent, with local specialties, but I found the choices somewhat limited compared to what I've experienced elsewhere. A kettle in the room would have been nice for that morning caffeine fix. The only downside was the accessibility. The hotel's layout included several short stairs. Despite these minor inconveniences, the stay felt quite pleasant overall and I'd recommend it for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Regensburg's beautiful old town.

Unique trendy boutique hotel with super-friendly and amiable staff. Easy check-in, parking close to venue. Everything modern. Amazing location within a close distance from St Peter Cathedral.

We got a very warm welcome and the member of staff even remember a request we had off the top of his head...Breakfast was beautiful, lots of choices...This hotel is top notch for location and is very very pretty. I would def stay here again but probably on a weeknight

Our room was in the attic space and seemed to be over a very loud party area and as it was very warm we had to leave the window open so I didn't sleep that much at all (all the chatting, music and sometimes screaming ended about 4am), I do think the price was a little steep

Fantastic location right in the heart of the historic district, with cozy rooms with original timber beams and lovely views. Breakfast options are plentiful, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

Limited parking is a hassle, leading to inconvenience after a long journey. Noise from nearby areas can disturb your tranquility during the night.

The best central location for Altstad Central,near the river and in the middle of all the shopping.Staff were excellent.The room was quaint and very small.

Ask for rooms away from cafes/bars and street noise. Only an upgraded room at extra cost will be quiet.

Location was great. Easy to walk to all the sites and resturants.

Had to have the window open to keep cool in the room. Unfortunately with the open window we were kept up until 2 am due to all the street noise. When the window was closed it did get rid of the noise but then it was very hot in the room.I Might stay at the hotel again but request a room away from the street.
